Course Description
Dr. Seth Klayman will be teaching a Mini-Yeshiva on the Amidah Prayer, which will include:
- An introduction to the Amidah prayer
- Names of the prayer
- General historical development
- Basic structure and themes of the prayer
- Traditions associated with praying the prayer
- How to use the Amidah prayer as a launching pad to build a deeper relationship with the L-RD through prayer
- Discussion of praying the Amidah as a follower of Yeshua
- Principles for an ever-deepening personal prayer life
Biographical Details
Dr. Seth Klayman holds a B.A. in Jewish Studies from The Ohio State University, a graduate diploma in Jewish Studies from Oxford University, an M.A. and Ph.D. in Religion (Judaic Studies) from Duke University, and is the Rabbi of Sha’arei Shalom Messianic Synagogue in North Carolina.
