Dance MinistryThe Dance Ministry here at Baruch HaShem is an extension of the Worship Ministry. In the Jewish community dancing is customary in celebrating Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, Brit Milahs, and weddings as well as other joyous occasions. Here at Baruch HaShem Congregation we celebrate the worship of HaShem in singing, playing of musical instruments, clapping of hands and in dance. We worship in dance using choreographed movements to facilitate unity and graceful flow in the dance line. The dances are simple enough that through some instruction, participation possible and all are welcomed who desire a more physical expression of their worship to HaShem. Beginners Dance Classes are held every month before our Chaverah celebration (the first Shabbat of the month) as well as twice a year for an extended class schedule of about six weeks (usually in the spring and fall). Men and Women, Teens and Children (who are able to keep up) are welcome to join. See the calendar or Communiqué for dates.
