Menachem (Comforter) Ministry
- In a weak moment, do you see yourself as parenting alone or as a failed parent?
- Does your child seem “special” and “unique” in ways you never planned or imagined?
- Have you postponed vacation from worry until your child reaches maturity?
- Are you wondering how your child can resist a youth culture that glorifies evil?
- Has “crisis” become an unwelcome and persistent guest in your home?
- Have you wondered if your family is “broken” beyond repair, or too needy to merit help?
- Have you felt like an “abandoned orphan” within the body of Messiah?
IF SO, WE HAVE GOOD NEWS FOR YOU!
“I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you” John 14:18
The “Extreme Parenting of Extreme Youth in Extreme Times” support group is a tender-hearted ministry for parents who partner together in a safe environment to:
- Support each other & pray for their hurting families through the guidance of the Promised Holy Spirit, our Comforter in time of need.
- Share friendly words of guidance and comfort as parents of a specially-challenged child, or bound by a teen’s rebellion or addiction.
- Provide spiritual hope and encourage strong parent-child relationships able to weather whatever challenge we and our children may face.
- Find access to Biblical counseling, mentoring & coaching resources that provide life messages to youth on their journey to maturity.
- Recover a fresh vision of family transformation, healing & restoration based on God’s original plan to turn us ALL into His godly offspring.
We meet bi-monthly on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays 6:30-8:30 PM in the Asher room.
