Their story was recently published in a book called A Holocaust Testimony and won first place in a manuscript competition last year at the Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Writers Conference of the Southwest. William Schiff calls it "a love story."   "It is that," says the co-author Craig Hanley, "but it is also a moral parable that, in these times of heightened racial tension we would be foolish to ignore."

Barbara Lindsey Lassiter - Barbara was born in Israel and lived there until going to OU in Oklahoma, where she met and married Jim Lassiter.  They have served the L-rd together in several countries.   Barbara's Father was the late Robert L. Lindsey, who lived in Israel for over 43 years and was the pastor of the Baptist Congregation on Narkis street in Jerusalem. His focus was on the Synoptic gospels and the Messianic actions and words of Yeshua.  Barbara grew up speaking Hebrew and Arabic and later learned French, Vietnamese and English.

Check our upcoming Lunch 'n Learn events page.

Blessed is He who comes in the name of the L-rd
