Israel Independence Day Celebration

Wednesday, May 7, 2008, 7-9 p.m.

Baruch HaShem Messianic Synagogue will host a Yom HaAtzmaut Service Wednesday, May 7, 2008, to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Israel's Independence.

On May 14, 1948, David Ben-Gurion stood before the crowds gathered in Tel Aviv to declare to the world that Israel was once again a free and independent state. It was a dream fulfilled for Jews around the world, but it was only the first stage in the fulfillment of the promises of G-d as He revealed Israel's future to a Jewish prophet named Ezekiel in a vision we know as the Valley of Dry Bones.

With an eye toward the developments of the Ezekiel 37 vision that is being fulfilled in our generation, the Baruch HaShem congregational family welcomes visitors to join us in celebrating what wonderful things G-d has wrought in the 60 years of the State of Israel. The Wednesday night service will be a celebration for the whole family - Jew and Gentile in Messiah, Mom and Pop, from kiddies of all ages to Savta and Sabba (grandmother and grandfather).

The Baruch HaShem Yom HaAtzmaut service will celebrate the birth of the modern state of Israel with a focus on the return of Messianic Jews as well as the general Jewish population.  Afterwards we will enjoy an authentic Israeli “nosh” featuring light Israeli foods in the Baruch HaShem kitchen annex.  It should be a lot of fun and a great of fellowship as we celebrate Israel’s 60th Birthday.

Baruch HaShem is located at 6304 Beltline Road, Dallas, Texas 75254 between Preston and Hillcrest
