Important Registration Information

Please familiarize yourself with the following details before you register for Hebrew School.

METHODS OF REGISTRATION: Students may register online or in the Adult Education Wing on the dates listed below.

METHODS OF PAYMENT: When registering online, you will be directed to pay. (Note: A 20% discount for 2 or more family members will automatically be applied at the time of registration.)

Payment may be made in one of the following ways:

  • Full payment at the time of registration via credit card
  • Full payment at the time of registration via check or cash (MUST REGISTER IN PERSON FOR THIS OPTION). After registering with Hebrew Department personnel, place the payment in a tithe envelope, designated “Hebrew Registration”, and then place in a Tzedakah box. (Any amount paid in excess of the registration amount will be designated as a Hebrew School donation.)
  • Partial payment may be submitted at the time of registration. Minimum deposit due is indicated for each class. Remaining balance is due 30 days from the date of registration.
  • Scholarships are considered on an individual basis. Please contact the Hebrew Department Director if you would like to inquire about a scholarship.


  • July 28, 2018 – Online registration begins
  • August 11, 2018 – Registration will be held in the Samech Room of the Adult Education Wing immediately after Shabbat service.
  • August 18, 2018 – Registration will be held in the Samech Room of the Adult Education Wing immediately after Shabbat service.
  • August 22, 2018 – Registration closes.
  • August 26, 2018 – Hebrew School begins


Classes will begin Sunday, August 26th and will end Sunday, December 16th.


Beginning Hebrew is the first class for all Hebrew students and is a prerequisite for Prayers and Blessings.

Class Audit – We do not permit students to audit a class unless they have failed the class and must repeat the course. Exceptions may be made with special permission granted by the Director of the Hebrew Department.

Re-registration – Students who had to drop a class due to life circumstances may re-register for that class without a nominal tuition fee. Please discuss with Hebrew Department Director.

Childcare (ages 0-8) – This is a free service provided to parents enrolled in the Hebrew School. All children must attend class or remain in the care of their parent. Children will not be allowed to roam the building during class times. Childcare is available for children ages 0-8. Please see the childcare guidelines for more information.
