Assistance for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing

Hearing Assistance
The purpose of Assistance for the Deaf and hard of hearing is to provide a means for the Deaf Community to meaningfully participate in the services and activities of the synagogue. We also aim to foster better understanding between the deaf and hearing.

ASL interpreting is offered at every Shabbat Service and via our live stream with no advance request for assistance needed. Interpreting is also offered during special services, but it is strongly recommended that an advance request be made to better plan accommodations for the Deaf and hard of hearing. To make arrangements, please contact the Baruch HaShem office at 972.386.0121 or here.

Assistance for the Deaf and hard of hearing also offers a Hebrew Class.

If you are interested in serving as an interpreter or you have any questions regarding our Assistance for the Deaf and hard of hearing program, please complete the Volunteer Form (select “Deaf Ministry” in the dropdown box).
