Sweet and Sour Cabbage Meatballs

1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 lb of cabbage
15 oz tomato sauce
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1/4 cup of lemon juice
long grain wild rice

Cut a deep circle at the core of the cabbage. Place in a large sauce pan of boiling water 3-5 minutes or until leaves can pull away, being careful not to overcook. Mix meat with 3/4 cup tomato sauce put in desired amount of rice. Roll into 12 balls. Place each ball in the center of cooked cabbage leaves. Place seam side down in a large skillet. Mix remaining sauce with sugar and lemon juice, pour over meatballs rolled in the cabbage leaves. Simmer covered until done about 45-60 minutes. Loosen the rolled cabbage from bottom of skillet occasionally while cooking to prevent it from sticking.
